Due to the recent passage of the Student Success Act by the Oregon state legislature, schools will receive additional funding. According to estimates, Pilot Rock School District will receive nearly $111,000 this year for our Career & Technical Education (CTE) program. Also, beginning in the 2020-21 school year, we can expect an additional $281,000 a year from the Student Investment Account (SIA).
These funds can be spent in any or all of the following four categories:
- Student health and safety
- Increased instructional time
- Reduction in class size
- Expansion of well-rounded learning experiences
We want your input in assessing the strengths and weaknesses of the district to determine how best to use these additional funds. We have designed a survey -- your responses will help the School Board and the district in our school improvement efforts.
