Pilot Rock School District will be offering meals at no charge to students for the 2021-2022 school year. Enjoy the last bit of summer, we look forward to seeing everyone!

HELLO ROCKET NATION!
Please understand that Covid-19 has changed the landscape of our world dramatically
and continues to change daily. Pilot Rock School District is committed to providing “R”
students with a great educational experience and will do this in the safest possible
manner that will help “R” children grow through these challenging times.
The State of Oregon, Oregon Health Authority and Oregon Department of Education
have implemented a K-12 mask mandate for face coverings for all staff and students
during the instructional day. Pilot Rock School District will adhere, and implement all
RSSL strategies required, including a mask mandate. We will refrain from implementing
consequences that deny access to instruction and will continually provide instruction
and positive reinforcement to help all students. Punitive measures will not be used to
remind, motivate, and reinforce healthy practices.
In addition, the Oregon School Athletic Association has stated that contests for the
2021/22 sports season will return to the traditional sports seasons with fall sports
beginning August 16th
.
At this time mask mandates do not apply to after school activities and sports
competitions.
Thank you again for your patience with us as we navigate through these very
challenging times and as rules and regulations change we will send out updates.

There are no class supply lists at this time, students should expect to need pencils, pens, paper, notebooks, and backpack. Any further supplies will be requested by teachers the first week of class.

Reminder to Swim Bus Parents
Your child CANNOT ride the bus without their swim pass. This is how the supervisors keep track of who is riding the bus to the pool and home.
Please send your student with sunscreen, snacks, water and or money for snack shack.
